Homelink History

1992 – In February of 1992 Homelink was born, although back in 1992 the name was Tradelink we started to install windows and doors in Cambridgeshire. 

1992 – In June of the same year, we moved into our first home in the Dock Road Industrial Estate in Chatteris in Cambridgeshire.

1993 – We outgrew our first home and moved over to neighbouring March in Cambridgeshire. We originally operated from a factory on Norwood Road, but soon became too big for this plot also.

1994 – As the Tradelink direct to trade business grew, Tradelink South East was born and concentrated on the installation and fitting side of the fenestration industry.

1995 – Moved a mile away to Marwick Road. As the new location was an impressive 26,000 square feet, there was plenty of room to fit our growing business in. 

2010 – In 2010 we added aluminium to the many materials we installed for our customers, offering a full range of ali products to the portfolio.

2014 – We acquired Allways uPVC Windows LTD in Ely to further strengthen our hold as the number one window fitters in Cambridgeshire.

2016 – In June of 2016, Tradelink South East changed over to Homelink Windows Limited, to show that we are first and foremost a windows, doors and conservatory fitter for the home owner and residential market.

2018 – Moved from Marwick Road over to our current home on commercial road. The location hosts an impressive showroom that showcases a selection of the many products we have been fitting across the country for previous 27 plus years.
